Walford Town player scoops Player of the month award

Walford Town's poacher extraodinaire Thurston Johnson has wowed his home fans at School Lane this month with his impressive performances and has duly won the Vanarama National league South Player of the Month for September.

The 30 year old has been in a rich vein of late, scoring an incredible eight goals in five games.

Eastbourne Borough's Germaine Ofori came in second place, while Walford's Karlan Ahearne-Grant, on loan from Charlton Athletic finished a close third.
