Walford Town defeat ten man East Thurrock
Walford Town took full advantage of their numerical advantage as they beat East Thurrock United 3-0 at School Lane.
East Thurrock finished the game with ten men and were always likely to struggle to get anything out of the game.
Thurston Johnson gave Walford Town the lead with a very tidy finish into the bottom left from 11 yards in the 17th minute.
Things went from bad to worse for East Thurrock as wing back Aiden Palmer earned himself an early bath for a bad tackle on 45 minutes.
Young striker Karlan Ahearne-Grant doubled Walford's lead with a fantastic finish from 13 yards on 48 minutes.
Johnson completed the rout on 56 minutes with an excellent finish into the top corner from close range to make it three goals and another three points for the Wally's.
