Vanarama South: Walford Town 0 4 Hampton & Richmond Att 1,237
Walford Town fail to convert changes
In the Vanarama match of the day, where 1st placed Walford took on 2nd place Hampton & Richmond, it was H&R who took the three points in a somewhat surprising result.
The Wally's were still smarting over their FA Cup defeat to Swindon Town the week before, and it seemed that the hangover continue on a little bit longer.
Things turned sour for the Wally's when veteran centre back Siphiwe Mkhonza earned himself an early bath for continously fouling on 57 minutes.
Defensive forward Jason Williams gave Hampton the lead with an accuratley placed shot in the 65th minute.
Williams then added his second of the afternoon witha close range strike on 68 minutes.
Wright scored with 20 yards in the 78th minute to further the lead and Williams completed the demolition with his well deserved hat trick on 80 minutes.
Walford are still top tonight but now only by goal difference with Hampton & Richmond ready to take advantage of any more Wally's mishaps.
