Johnson sends Walford Town top
Two goals from Thurston Johnson ensured Walford Town moved to the top of the Vanarama National League South after a 2-1 victory over Welling United on a hard and bouncy surface at Park View Road.

Welling were nearly gifted a goal on 38 minutes through Siphiwe Mkhonza's lapse in concentration but they failed to capitalise on the opportunity to them.
Welling's equaliser came through Dean Leacock as he seized on Nicolas Nunez's mistake to score a close range finish.
Johnson scored what proved to be the winner on 45 minutes with a close range goal.
Walford Town have climbed above Bath City to 1st place in the Vanarama National League South.
